Warehouse Design for Maximum Automation

The acquisition consisted of a 70,000 square foot facility located on the West coast, miles away from their Midwest operation. Numina provided additional warehouse design and automation services to automate distribution operations of the new facility. Numina Group provided warehouse design studies of the new facility to mirror the company’s pick, pack and ship functions utilized in their current Midwest facility.

Warehouse Execution and Control

Numina’s Tier One Warehouse Execution and Control (WES-WCS) system integrates pick, pack and ship processes with real time control. Real-Time Distribution, RDS™, provides added functionality beyond traditional warehouse control systems. RDS™ fully integrates with existing warehouse management systems such as SAP and virtually any other existing WMS system.

By integrating RDS with order fulfillment processes, Numina is able to balance the workload across the various order fulfillment processes.
